Review of Haus HohenseeDuring our recent family vacation at Haus Hohensee, we discovered a blend of comfort and convenience that truly complements the stunning Harz region. From the moment we arrived, the owners welcomed us warmly, providing insights into the local culture and history, which delighted our children. Our family stayed in a well-furnished room that met our needs, even if the private bathroom was compact. It was regularly cleaned, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere. Each morning, we enjoyed a diverse breakfast that catered to all tastes, setting us up for our daily adventures, whether it was trekking through the nearby trails or exploring the historical town center. One of our favourite experiences was visiting a local museum, where the guide was incredibly accommodating-translating the tour for us, which was a wonderful touch that helped us appreciate the area's rich history together as a family. The friendly atmosphere of the town further enhanced our stay, making it a memorable getaway. Haus Hohensee is a perfect base for families seeking outdoor activities and a taste of local culture. We left with lasting memories and a genuine appreciation for both the hotel and its charming surroundings.
